Ana Jovanovska received her M.A. in Printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts – University Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, Macedonia (2016). Upon receiving a scholarship she spent time studying abroad attending École supérieure d’arts & médias de Caen/Cherbourg in France (2013-2014).
Ana had 10 independent and more than 100 group exhibitions in Macedonia and abroad in countries such as: Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, USA, UK and so on.

"When you think about painting, do you think about something like this?" the TV sounds, while the gaze travels away from the screen onto the fake copy of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
"Why does art hate me?" continues the video with a replica of Homer Simpson from the series The Simpsons. In it, Homer is portrayed as an incarnation of the common man, the average citizen, hence his understanding or misunderstanding he has with and of contemporary art, a replica that continues with "Why does art hate me ... I never did anything to art".
The piece is composed of a video collage of short cuts from famous foreign cartoon movies that reach us through cable television. In them, they discuss the meaning of art in one way or another while at the same time transmit and strengthen popular opinions and understandings about modern and post-modern art. Often mockingly, less often - enthusiastically, mоre often they just express total confusement about it all.
